Begin Your Adventure in The Robson Valley

With the snow capped Cariboo Mountains on one side, the majestic Rocky Mountains on the other, and the mighty Fraser River winding through forests and farmlands, the Robson Valley presents a healthy treat for the body and soul.

Explore forest-covered sand dunes near Tete Jaune, alpine meadows and glaciers in the Rocky Mountains and rare inland rainforests along the Cariboos. Visit Mount Robson, the highest mountain in the Canadian Rockies or hike through the Ancient Cedar Forest, an area undisturbed for thousands of years with cedars over 1000 years old.

Enjoy the work of local artists in our galleries and sample home grown goodness at the farmers markets. Check out our events page to see what is going on during your visit and explore the history of the Robson Valley through our local museum.

Come for a visit or stay for a lifetime, you are welcome in the Robson Valley! To find out more drop by the Visitor Centre and speak with our friendly staff between 9 am to 5 pm, or call 1-866-569-3366. The Visitor Centre is in McBride’s beautiful heritage railway station at First and Main.
