McBride and District Public Library
The McBride and District Public Library has been proudly serving the Robson Valley for over 60 years as our community’s friendly centre of knowledge, literacy and lifelong learning. We have a wide selection of books, magazines, audiobooks, and DVDs available to borrow. If you prefer reading online, we have access to thousands of eBooks and hundreds of e-magazine titles.
For residents and tourists alike, free internet is available at one of our 13 computer stations or via our wifi connection. BC residents passing through can borrow books through the BC One Card program and return them at any library in the province.
We offer a number of programs that are open to everyone, including: a weekly Ready, Steady, Learn program for preschoolers and their caregivers; a regular Storytime with Mother Goose for families with infants and toddlers; digital library classes; monthly Scrabble sessions; Free Legal Advice clinics; and more. Check out our Facebook group or our website for details and updated schedule.
