The Third Annual Seedy Saturday includes an exciting series of seminars, plus the chance to exchange seeds and gardening ideas. It is all happening on March 5, 2016 from 10 am to 3 pm at the Dunster Schoolhouse, Dunster-Croydon Road.

Free Admission – All Welcome!

10:00 am to 10:10 am – Welcome and Introductions

10:10 am to 10:40 am – Introducing the new McBride Seed Library with Rosara Buck

10:40 am to 11:00 am – Break for coffee and to browse displays and trade or buy seeds.

11:00 am to 11:45 am – Growing Grapes in the Robson Valley with Kelly Mortensen and Brian Thair

11:45 am to 12 noon  – Break for coffee and to browse displays and trade or buy seeds.

 

12:00 noon to 1:00 pm – Lunch Break
( Lunch available -soup and bunwich for $5.00 goodies by donation)

1:00 pm to 1:40 pm Buzzing with the bees
with Monica Zeiper

1:40 pm to 2:00 pm  – Break for coffee and to browse displays and trade or buy seeds.

2:00 pm to 2:45 pm Growing up growing! Local produce for local markets
with Vern Pawloske and Elaine Robson

2:45 to 3:00 pm Closing round with Nancy Taylor

All day:  seed displays, Home Hardware Display, seed trading and buying, free garden magazine and book table, bee hive display, gardening book display from the Library, Open Gate Garden Display, etc.

A great day to meet and chat with other gardeners from around the Robson Valley and beyond.
